Welcome to remy.studio

Why it exists
Most of my photos never get looked at twice, or even once. They sit on hard drives and phones, scattered, unedited, and unseen. Yet there are the trips I keep telling people about, the small weekends I want to remember, the people (or lack thereof) and moments I keep half-recalling. I’m starting this site to put some of them somewhere I can come back to.
It’s mostly for friends and family. The writing will probably be uneven and messy. That’s fine, just like life.
Teaser tour
- Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+28mmf/1.91/327ISO 40
A shopping cart somewhere it shouldn’t be. I’ve been collecting snapshots since 2015. And I have no good reason for it.
- Google Pixel 3 XL27mmf/1.81/690ISO 55
Sunrise at the Grand Canyon, six years ago. I keep going back and not posting these.
- Fujifilm X-T4XF16mm F1.4 R WR16mmf/161/4ISO 160
Last weekend in Flagstaff with Jacob. Old motel signs, a few trains rolling through. The kind of afternoon where nothing happens and that’s the point.
- Google Pixel 8 Pro24mmf/1.71/120ISO 208
A night of live music with Jubu and Jake from ANEURYST.
The promise
I’ll post when I have a story to show and tell — biweekly when life cooperates, longer gaps when it doesn’t. Some posts will be from the X-T4 with edits done properly. Some will be phone photos with a paragraph. Both and everything in-between belongs here. The point is the writing-down and sharing, not the production.
If you want to come back, the RSS feed is here. Or just check in once in a while.
Thanks for being here.
